For the last 15 years Blue Moon has hosted different types of volunteer’s groups.

Most of the groups have been involved in our Educational Project in Los Brazos community where Blue Moon is sponsoring and managing a Kindergarten and a Community Center. Volunteer groups have developed sustainable educational projects for the youth as well as infrastructural community improvement like sidewalks, outhouses and renovating homes. This offers the volunteer groups concrete experiences while building meaningful relationship with community members.

In this context we have also created close relationships with international schools and organizations, which use Blue Moon as a place for their students to stay while working in projects around the regions.

We focus on child educational projects, infrastructural and environmental programs for the community combined with adventures and exploration of the Dominican Republic.
